BB: It's disappointing to lose, obviously. We just didn't do a good job tonight. I didn't do a good job of coaching. We didn't do a good job of playing. We're not going to win many games that way, giving up big plays on defense, special teams, we turned the ball over five times, third down penalties. We just didn't coach well, didn't play well. They did a better job than we did. It's as simple as that. I don't really think there's a lot to make out of it. They just did a better job than we did. We just have to get back to work and be ready for the Jets.

Q: Any word on Rodney [Harrison]?

BB: No, not yet.

Q: How did his absence affect your abilities defensively?

BB: Hey, everybody has to step up and play. You'd like to have all of your players. We just have to coach better. We have to play better.

Q: Did playing back-to-back night games have anything to do with the way you played?

BB: I don't think so.

Q: Defensively, you played better as the game went on. What was the difference in the second half?

BB: It wasn't good enough. We just need to do better. We need to play more consistently. We need to play better more consistently.

Q: Do you look at the seedings at all?

BB: Look, I don't care anything about that. The only thing we we're concerned about is trying to win this game. Next week, we play the Jets. I'm sure wherever we finish, somebody will tell us what we're supposed to do. I don't care anything about that right now. I [was] just concerned about playing Indianapolis, and now it's moving onto the Jets. The rest of that stuff, you guys can worry about that.

Q: Can you talk about the adjustments you made in the second half defensively?

BB: We did some things well. There were some other things that could have been better. We just have to do a better job. We have to be more consistent. We have to coach better. We have to play better. We just have to do a better job, that's all.

Q: The contact play with Asante [Samuel], did it seem like they were calling the game tightly?

BB: Penalties hurt us. Penalties hurt us – and some of them were on third down, too. Those were big penalties, yes.

Q: Did you feel like you got away from the run in the second half?

BB: I don't know. We called some runs. Some of them were productive. Some of them weren't. We weren't consistently productive running the ball. We weren't consistently productive throwing it. We weren't consistent in any phase of the game. We weren't consistent in covering kicks. We just didn't play well enough to win. It's as simple as that. We just didn't play well enough to win.

Q: The fact that they had the lead for most of the game, did that affect your game plan at all?

BB: No. No. No. It was pretty much always a one-score game or a 10-point game there for a little bit. It was a one-score game there for the last…no, it didn't.

Q: Defensively, did they do anything to surprise you?

BB: No. No.
