BB: Good win today. I thought our team played well, offensively especially. We moved the ball, scored a lot of points. That's something we haven't done very much of down here. It was good to feel that and experience it. Things tightened up a bit there at the end, but we had a nice drive there. Tom [Brady] hit Wes [Welker] on that last touchdown. I felt like we needed that. We certainly didn't tackle very well defensively all day, particularly in the second half, a lot less than impressive. But, overall, when you score those kind of points, you have a chance. The guys did a real good job offensively today.

Q: Can you talk about the touchdown catches by Randy Moss and what you felt on both of those?

BB: I was pretty far away from both of them. You guys probably saw better than I did, but it looked like he went and took the ball away from a couple of guys. I was a long way away.

Q: How effective is he doing that? Is that one of the things that makes him rare?

BB: He's got great ball skills. It's not just the long balls. He does a good job on all of them, and we've seen him do it before.

Q: Laurence Maroney didn't have to play much, but would you have limited him no matter what?

BB: We just played the game the way it came out. I don't know what would have happened if something else would have happened. I don't know.

Q: How do you think he looked?

BB: We'll look at the film. I don't know.

Q: Did you see the kickoff return by Willie Andrews? You were talking to the defense.

BB: It looked like they kicked it away from the way we had the return set. I didn't get a great look at it. There were a lot of bodies flying around. But Willie has done a good job for us in the kicking game. He's one of our core guys. He shows up on every [special teams unit], and he's fast.

Q: After the interception for a touchdown, you put Tom Brady back in. Why did you do that?

BB: Because of the score.

Q: And the other quarterback, Gutierrez, was there something wrong with Matt Cassel?

BB: We were just trying to win the game. That's all.

Q: The score was 42-21.

BB: Yeah. One more turnover and it's a 14-point game in the middle of the fourth quarter. I was at the game.

(laughter)

Q: Is that the same reason you went to the two-minute drill at the end of the half, because there was 30 minutes left?

BB: It's the first half. It's the first half. Look, we've all seen games… the Tampa-Indianapolis game a couple of years ago, 21 points in four minutes or whatever it [was]. Don't tell me about leads in this league. Until the final gun goes off, it's not a win.

Q: Have you seen Tom Brady play as well as he did in the first half?

BB: Tom has played some pretty good football for us, and he played well today.
